8 September 2022: Screening of the award-winning documentary Not Just Your Picture. The Story of the Kilani Family, directed by Anne Paq and Dror Dayan, with the participation of Anne Paq. Co-organised by the Irish Network for MENA Studies, the Early Childhood Research Centre (ECRC) at Dublin City University, and Academics for Palestine.

 

20 June 2022: World Refugee Day’s two-event celebration.

Co-organised by the Irish Network for MENA Studies, Maynooth University’s Sanctuary committee, the Department of English at Maynooth University and supported by Office of the VP for Equality and Diversity at Maynooth University.

 

24 March 2022: The legacy of 9/11: Community policing in Ireland and Turkey,  with Dr Hayal Akarsu, Dr Vicky Conway, Prof John Doyle, Prof Christian Kaunert, chaired by Dr Erika Biagini. Co-organised by the Irish Network for MENA Studies, the International Master in Security, Intelligence and Strategic Studies (IMSISS), the Jean Monnet Network on EU Counter-Terrorism (EUCTER), the DCU’s Institute for International Conflict Resolution and Reconstruction (IICRR).
